Help with Air Drift in a browser and in its apps.
Email [email protected]. A person reads it and answers, usually within a couple of days. It helps to say which device you are on and, if it is about a station, the station's name.
Air Drift plays each station straight from the broadcaster's own stream, so when a station is off the air, has moved, or is not offered in your country, there is nothing to play. Try another station, or press Drift. Stations that stay silent drop out of the list within a day or so. If one you care about has stopped working, tell us and we will look.
The title comes from what the station sends with its stream, and many stations send nothing, or send the show's name. The cover is looked up from that title, so it is only as good as the title is.
Stations play exactly as they air, so a commercial station runs its own adverts, just as it does on a radio. Air Drift adds none and has none of its own.
On the device you saved them on. There is no account, so favourites and history do not follow you to another device. In a browser they can be exported to a file from settings.
No. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to buy.
Air Drift links listeners directly to the stream you publish, unaltered, so your listener counts and adverts are your own. Its station list comes from Radio Browser, a volunteer-run public directory of internet radio, and is refreshed from it every day. A station corrected or removed there is corrected or removed in Air Drift within a day or so, and in the other apps that use the same directory.
Radio Browser sets out how in its FAQ: a station's owner can change its own entry, and changes and removals can be requested through its station database project. If you would rather not do that yourself, email [email protected] from an address at the station and we will pass the request on for you.
What Air Drift does and does not collect is set out on the about page.
